Plan Your Visit

When should I show up?

We have Sunday School at 9:45 AM and Morning Worship at 10:40 AM, and each service features programs for infants and children all the way through high school.

So that you won’t feel rushed, we do recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the Morning Worship Service so that you have time to drop off your kids at their programs and make your way over to the worship center.

Where should I park?

Visitor parking is located on the north and west sides of the building.

What should I wear?

You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. The people that gather at First Baptist Church Luther each Sunday wear anything from suits and dresses to jeans and t-shirts, though most wear business casual.

Are there kids programs available?

Yes! We have classes for infants through 5th grade. While you are enjoying an exciting worship service please know that safety of your child is of utmost importance to us. We do this so you can be free to worship knowing that your child is being taken care of by very capable people. Visit our Children’s Ministry page!

What do you have for students?

First Baptist Church Luther’s Youth Ministry exists so every student who comes here knows that God loves them and wants to be a part of their lives. We also have small groups for students that meet at the 9:45 AM on Sundays and during our Wednesday Evening Bible StudyClick here to learn more about student ministry or click the “Plan Your Visit” button above to pre-register your student(s) for Sunday AM small groups.

As an adult, how can I get connected?

Attending a small group or Bible study is the first step to making a large church smaller. A great way to grow in your relationship with Jesus is to have intentional relationships with people who have the same goal. A small group is the ideal place for cultivating these relationships! Click here if you’re interested in receiving more information on attending a small group.

What can I expect? What will the message be like?

We are committed to a creative, compelling, challenging presentation of God’s truth. Our format is accessible to anyone, no matter where they are on their life’s journey. This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts.

We have live, upbeat worship with a full band, as well as intimate songs of worship. Everyone worships in his or her own unique way – for some, that means singing, clapping, and raising their hands; for others, it means quietly reflecting on the words. At First Baptist Church Luther, you’re welcome to do what comes from the heart in praise to God.

In every service, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message based on Scripture that will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong Biblical foundation.

Will I have to say, sign, or give anything?

If you are visiting, we won’t ask you to give a dime. We won’t make you wear a visitor badge or ask you to stand up or do anything that could make you feel uncomfortable. We want you to remain as anonymous as you want to, but we encourage you to visit our church over several weeks to see what’s going on at First Baptist Church Luther.

Are all weekend services the same?

Go to our Sermons page to get a feel for the atmosphere of the morning services.
