Sermon Outline
Pentecost was a timed festival after the Passover, the Feast of the Unleavened Bread, and the Feast of the First Fruits. Fifty days from the Feast of the First Fruits was Pentecost. It was a foreshadowing of Christ’s resurrection and the infusion of the Holy Spirit into the Church. God meant for First Fruits to be a blessing to us, and Pentecost to be a blessing through us. Being a blessing to others is God’s plan for New Testament living. I am a blessing when:
I. God is Ready (verse 1)
II. I am Right (verse 1)
III. Spirit is Ruling (verse 4)
