God supernaturally orchestrated current events to allow God’s people a respite from persecution. God is in control of the “climate” in our life to accomplish His will for us. Acts 9:31 provides us an opportunity to see why God allowed persecution and why He provided rest.
I. God allows resistance for evangelism. (Acts 8:3-4)
II. God affords rest for edification. (Acts 9:31)
